Wingrock was a horse who lived in the stable cottage on the property. He was a fine saddle horse, turned showjumping horse and beloved by his owners who were well-known in the equestrian community of this area. Wingrock even made his name in the local newspaper with his swimming antics. His owner, the late John Gerber would tell us: “Every rider has one special horse, and Wingrock was mine”.
Wingrock Guesthouse is situated Blanco, George, surrounded by the iconic Fancourt Golf course with beautiful views of the Outeniqua Mountains.
